Pricing and quote questions

Every screen and door is built to a measured opening, and the fabric, size, count and access all change the price. A number on a web page would be wrong for most homes. A quote after measuring gives you a price for your actual windows and doors.

The main factors are the number of windows, their size and shape, the fabric you choose, and how hard the windows are to reach, such as upper-story or arched windows. Screening several windows at once usually lowers the cost per window through the multi-window discount.

It depends mainly on whether the old frame can be rescreened or needs replacing, the size of the screen and the mesh you choose. Standard insect mesh costs less than pet-resistant mesh. Replacing worn hardware adds a little.

Height and width come first, since 96-inch doors and extra-wide openings use more material. The frame color and upgrades such as pet screen also play a part, as does whether it is a rescreen or a custom new door.

Usually, yes, because the existing frame and much of the hardware are reused. It only makes sense when the frame is straight and still fits, and we will tell you which screens qualify.

Compare the same things line by line: the number and size of screens, the fabric or mesh named, whether frames are new or rescreened, the hardware, and what the warranty covers. A lower price for a lighter frame or a different fabric is not the same job.
