A-Affordable Screen offers four discounts: a senior discount, a military discount, a referral discount and a multi-window discount. Ask about them when you book your free on-site measure, and they are applied on your quote.
Senior discount
Seniors, mention it when you call, text or fill in the quote form. The discount is shown on your quote.
Military discount
If you serve or have served in the military, mention it when you call, text or fill in the quote form, and ask whether you qualify. The discount is shown on your quote.
Referral discount
Sent to us by a neighbor, friend or family member who is already a customer? Tell us who referred you when you book.
Multi-window discount
Screening several windows at once is where the savings add up, because one measure and one install visit cover the whole job. Ask whether your job qualifies; it is shown on your quote.
It pays to think about the whole house at the measure, even if you do it in stages. Solar screens matter most on west-facing glass, then east, so many people start there. Landlords and property managers often bundle every window and door on a turnover.
Getting the most from one visit
- Walk the house before we arrive and note every torn, bent or missing screen, not just the one that prompted the call
- Add the sliding door: a custom new sliding screen door or a rescreen of the one you have can be quoted in the same visit
- Ask about pet screens for the doors and low windows your dog or cat uses
- Tell us who referred you, and mention if you are a senior or have served in the military
Help for income-qualified households
Separately from our discounts, Nevada's Weatherization Assistance Program lists solar screens among the improvements it can provide free to income-qualified households, through nonprofit agencies. In Washoe County that is the Community Services Agency, (775) 786-6023. We do not run the program; call them to ask whether you qualify.

Do you offer discounts for rental properties?
Multi-window jobs on rentals are common. See landlords and property managers and ask at your measure.
Are there rebates for solar screens in Nevada?
We have not found an NV Energy or state rebate for solar screens for a typical homeowner. Income-qualified households can ask the Weatherization Assistance Program, above.
