Senior, military, referral and multi-window discounts can lower it, and the quote shows exactly what is included. The on-site measure and the quote are free, and you are under no obligation to go ahead. ### What happens at the on-site measure? We measure each window or door you want done, check frames and tracks, and show you fabric and mesh samples. Then you get a quote listing each item, so you can decide what to do now and what can wait. ### Can I get a price by text with photos? Photos sent to (775) 240-0418 help us understand the job and give you a rough idea. The firm price comes after we measure, because a fraction of an inch changes what gets built. ### Do I need to measure my windows before calling? No. We measure everything on site. It helps to know roughly how many windows or doors you want done and which way they face. Every screen and door is built to a measured opening, and the fabric, size, count and access all change the price. A number on a web page would be wrong for most homes. A quote after measuring gives you a price for your actual windows and doors. ### What drives the cost of solar screens? The main factors are the number of windows, their size and shape, the fabric you choose, and how hard the windows are to reach, such as upper-story or arched windows. Screening several windows at once usually lowers the cost per window through the multi-window discount. ### What affects the price of a window screen repair? It depends mainly on whether the old frame can be rescreened or needs replacing, the size of the screen and the mesh you choose. Standard insect mesh costs less than pet-resistant mesh. Replacing worn hardware adds a little. ### What affects the price of a sliding screen door? Height and width come first, since 96-inch doors and extra-wide openings use more material. The frame color and upgrades such as pet screen also play a part, as does whether it is a rescreen or a custom new door. ### Is rescreening cheaper than a new screen? Usually, yes, because the existing frame and much of the hardware are reused. It only makes sense when the frame is straight and still fits, and we will tell you which screens qualify. ### How do I compare quotes from different screen companies? Compare the same things line by line: the number and size of screens, the fabric or mesh named, whether frames are new or rescreened, the hardware, and what the warranty covers. A lower price for a lighter frame or a different fabric is not the same job. We offer a military discount, a referral discount and a multi-window discount. Discount amounts are shown on your quote. ### How does the multi-window discount work? When you have several windows or screens done in the same job, the per-window price comes down. Your quote shows how the discount applies to your order. ### How does the referral discount work? If a friend or neighbor sent you our way, mention it when you call. Ask for the details when you book, and it will be reflected on your quote. ### Is there a warranty? Yes. We give a lifetime warranty on installation and a 20-year material warranty on solar screens, plus a customer satisfaction guarantee, and our custom sliding screen doors are guaranteed to fit.
